Smoking Cessation

My one-hit-wonder. I was a smoker for many years and it was this form of therapy that transformed me into a non-smoker and in turn, my husband also, as he was my practice client. It worked beautifully and we have never looked back. You can too, those two minds that argue for and against will no longer argue.

Who in their right mind would intentionally poison themselves? We wouldn’t and yet we do, due to the conflict that our brain is having between the emotional, primitive brain and the lovely intellectual brain. We spend a lot of time discussing why we have these conflicting thoughts going on, why we smoke, what you like and dislike about it and highlighting the damage that is happening inside your body. This is because it is this information that will ‘stick’ with you 10 years down the line when you are on a beach on holiday, nice and relaxed, perhaps had some drinkies and someone offers you a cigarette… The use of hypnosis helps all of this information to be reinforced into the subconscious mind.

‘Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the largest ever scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit. A meta-analysis, statistically combining results of more than 600 studies of 72,000 people from America and Europe to compare various methods of quitting. On average, hypnosis was over three times as effective as nicotine replacement methods and 15 times as effective as trying to quit alone.
